Visiting from out of town, we turned to Yelp for some help with selecting a dinner spot. Gomez Salsa was a hit!
Not your average Mexican-style restaurant! Fresh, quality ingredients. Great service. -

I don't need to say that Gomez Salsa is good, we all know that. And that is why, even when there was a huge queue out the door, I stood and waited for the food.
This location is obviously bigger than the window in OTR. There are drinks and seats too. Parking could be tight during peak times, but there's plenty street parking in the street across. The location is sketch, and that's the biggest turn-off to this eatery.
I got the 3 taco plate with chicken, and my friend got their special Ninja turtle. The food was served in probably 5 minutes.
We also tried the Strawberry Margaritas. At $8, I expected a lil more alcohol than plain ice, but it was good.
The tacos were good. However, the spice was very diluted than the same ones I've had earlier. The turtle was absolutely good though.
Gomez is a safe place to try Mexican food in Cincinnati. No doubt about that. -

What can I add that has not already been so eloquently states by many
Got the turtle with pork. It was great. Meat was so tender and juicy. Other fillings were perfect. Couldn't ask for anything better.
Parking is limited, just need to find a place on the street.
Like their pricing model, you can get tacos, turtle or bowl. All are the same price - $9.00
People there are really friendly and helpful

We had the following.
Turtle Shell $9
Hybrid Burrito, flat out awesome
We take a burrito sized tortilla, stuff it with all the goodies rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, salsa, meat, veggies, cheese and to form it, a tostado to give it some crunch. We seal it up with a cheese of approval, cut it in half and give it to you!
We had it with carnitas, I can't even begin to describe how amazing it was. I can't even come close. If you find yourself near one of their locations do yourself a favor and get this so you don't regret it for life. -
